    6 Tips on How to Achieve Professional and Personal Wellness

    Following on from my first five tips for day-to-day professional-personal wellness, here are some more pointers for integrating positive principles into the way you work and live.

    1. Fuel your Energy – Take deep breaths and harness your energy! Fuelling your four energy vessels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual is all about personal energy management and keeping within the performance zone and avoiding survival zone.  Look at my blog 'Career Management: How to Re-energise Yourself with a Demanding Career'.

    2. Seize Wisdom – Notice your intuition! Live consciously, try not to sleep walk through life and pay attention to experience and everything you’ve learned and continue to learn.  ‘Experience is not what happens to you, it is what you do with what happens to you’....Aldous Huxley.    Surround yourself with wise souls, inspiring partners!

    3. Shine Love & warmth – My favourite (or one of them); I find this easy to do and it comes naturally to me!  I value connecting and relating with people and demonstrating empathy.  How is this done? From within; for me it arises from who I am. By demonstrating compassion and patience for all human beings, the gifts in return are priceless.   

    4. Be Courageous – Feel the fear and do it anyway!  F.E.A.R = False Evidence Appearing Real – I am brave, I listen to my instinct and I playfully walk toward my goal.  The adventurer in me is sparked by evoking transition and bolding pioneering toward my outcome. I find it intoxicatingly exciting and life is about loving every moment and/or working toward that goal.

    5. Grow in Spirit – Pay attention to yourself (mind, body, heart) and increase your capacity to understand yourself, the world and others; be present, show up in the world consciously (try not to sleep walk through your life) and smile at your heart; soften, open and demonstrate compassion.  When practised this is a formula for serving business, supporting yourself as a leader and making a difference in the world!!

    6. Be - listen to your intuition. Do - what feels best!
