    Re-Motivating the Banks

Round-table discussion looking at ‘Organisational Change in the Post-Crisis World’ with speakers including: Simon North (Position Ignition), Ian Wigston and Marjon Wind (Glowinkowski International) and Julia warren (Thomson Reuters)

Whatever comes of the various regulatory initiatives underway on both sides of the Atlantic, banks face a difficult few years – years in which they will be required to restructure themselves to face new challenges, from the broader society as well as from regulators.

The problem is that staff members in most banks are de-motivated. They don’t feel valued for the work they do; they feel they are being made scapegoats for problems that they had little or nothing to do with. How can one change this? And how can managers manage their way through the current upheaval without losing the support of staff?

These challenges were discussed at this round-table
