Career Guide: Stephanie Mount

Stephanie Mount is an engaging, creative and innovative Guide. She has been with Position Ignition since its inception and has always been passionate about creating relationships, experiences and resources that stimulate and support professional people to spark and sustain mid-career to retirement transition.

Stephanie’s international career spans two continents and over two decades of learning & development experience, making her a natural ‘transition agent’. Moving between her native Canada and the UK, she has built up an innovative and diverse amount of professional experience: a 14 year career in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Community Programmes Manager, L & D Facilitator, Change Agent, Leadership and Career Development Provocateur.

She has enjoyed a successful and varied career working across both public and private sectors, and for organisations such as Royal Bank of Canada, Chrysler Canada, Tembec and the Canadian Government. Her career has led her into numerous large and small businesses and has given her experience across the energy sector, telecoms, local government, police and social media.

Stephanie has a pioneering spirit and a strong belief in the positive growth and resulting self creation that change can enable. These stem from her experiences in orchestrating transition early on in her career and her own self learning, development and growth, which have enabled her to become a successful Coach and Guide. Her ability to communicate effectively, to build deep relationships and her commitment to empathy equip her with the tools required to support clients along their journey.

Stephanie studied and holds a degree and diploma from St. Mary’s University and Vancouver Community College. She is a qualified coach from the International Coach Federation.
